Asymmetric|MP3 003 - Inside The Outsider - 31st January 2005 Inigo Kennedy announces Inside The Outsider - a third release for his Asymmetric|MP3 project. Inside The Outsider is now available as a free MP3 release consisting of four new tracks. It is downloadable at no cost via the Asymmetric website at www.asymmetric.co.uk. The MP3s continue to be encoded using LAME at an average bit rate of 192Kb/s in full stereo mode. Alternative versions will not be made available. With the recent addition of ASY011 and ASY012 the full back-catalogue of Asymmetric vinyl releases from ASY001-ASY012 is now available via digital distribution in collaboration with foryourears.com. In addition the entire back-catalogue is now available at higher quality. All the MP3s have now been encoded directly from the master recordings using LAME at a variable bit rate of ~256Kb/s in full stereo mode with the extreme preset at maximum quality settings. The short preview clips will remain at a lower quality rate of 96Kb/s. Individual tracks are available to download for €0.99. Full releases are available at a discounted combined price.
